How to Resolve McAfee False Positive Detection During MakeIt Software Installation?
We are aware that McAfee antivirus may mistakenly block the installation of WeCreat’s software due to a false positive detection. Please rest assured that our MakeIt software is 100% safe and verified. This issue is common when antivirus software flags new or unsigned applications.
To successfully install MakeIt software, please follow one of these solutions:
Solution 1: Temporarily Disable Real-Time Scanning
-
Open McAfee.
-
Go to Real-Time Scanning settings.
-
Click Turn Off and select 15 minutes.
-
Install our software.
-
Turn McAfee back on after installation.
Solution 2: Add the Installer to the Exclusions List
-
Open McAfee.
-
Go to PC Settings → Real-Time Scanning → Excluded Files.
-
Add the installer or the installation folder to the exclusions list.
-
Once installed, you can safely re-enable McAfee protection.
Why Does This Happen?
This false positive occurs because McAfee’s antivirus engine mistakenly flags our installer. It may happen with new or digitally unsigned applications. We are working with McAfee to prevent this from happening again.
WeCreat’s Commitment
We have already submitted our software to McAfee for official review and allowlisting. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
