Vista Auto Measure-Related Issues

Reasons for AutoMeasure Failure:

  • Deep black materials or other dark-colored materials
  • Uneven materials
  • The machine is exposed to strong light
  • Reflective surfaces or glossy materials
  • Disconnection between the Vista laser and the MakeIt software
  • No working area inside Vista showing on Canvas

Solutions:

  • Adjust the position of the material on the laser beds and then click AutoMeasure again.
  • Place a thin layer of white paper over the spot where the red dot is on the material and then click AutoMocus again.
  • Manually measure the material’s thickness and input it.
  • If no working area showing on canvas, please calibrate the camera first.

Note:

  • AutoMeasure may have a deviation of around ±1mm. For materials with uneven surfaces, the deviation could be greater.
  • For precise engraving/cutting, please directly input the material thickness.
