Video: How to Use LightBurn to Control WeCreat Lasers to Engrave Tumblers?

Step 1. USB connects the laser to your laptop.Power on the laser. 

Step 2. Download the corresponding configuration file:  Software | WeCreat MakeIt!

Step 3. Open LightBurn, click device> Import>Import the .lbdev file>OK

Step 4. Ensure it starts from the Absolute Coords. Then Select a new port and wait until the console completes. 

Step 5. Go to device settings. Input the working area and offset value for the laser. 

Note: Different laser models require various values, please refer to the pic below for reference: 

Step 6. Go to Rotary Setup. A green dot indicates a successful settings. 

Chuck Mode>Enable Rotary> Set Axis to A> Input the diameter of the tumbler>OK

Step 7. Import the design and complete power and speed settings.

Step 8. Click Move to control the laser module until the red dot falls on the material surface. 

Step 9. Continue Move to descend the laser module to optimal height for engraving:

Note: The optimal focal height is 40mm from the bottom of the laser module to the surface of the material.

Step 10. Click Framing or Start to do the project.
